Whether you’re buy-side or sell-side, asset manager or investment banker, analyst or advisor, gaining the CFA® charter will give you the professional edge. Being a CFA® charterholder demonstrates to your clients and colleagues not only that you have succeeded in three challenging exams, but that you will support clients in an ethical and professional manner.

CFA® Level I

CFA® Level I candidates come from many backgrounds: these range from those trying to build their knowledge from the ground upwards, all the way to seasoned finance professionals who now wish to add the most sought-after designation to their names. We cater to all CFA® candidates. To those with less experience in the financial world we include introductory courses – an Introduction to Financial Mathematics and an Introduction to Accounting. To the more experienced, our Quartic Online portal allows you to skip over topics with which you are already familiar. All candidates receive regular questions to test their level of knowledge.
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) OR
  • An Undergraduate Student with two years remaining in your undergraduate studies OR
  • To have 4,000 hours of professional work experience OR
  • To have a combination of university and work that totals three years

Discover CFA® Level I

CFA® Level II

CFA® Level II candidates have already succeeded in their first exam – however, some candidates begin their next challenge within moments of receiving their Level I result; others may have succeeded years earlier. At Quartic we cater to both, and all those in between. This next level is often considered the technically most challenging and requires a huge leap of understanding. Our intuitive approach helps candidates grasp the concepts and address some of the trickier questions that can arise. To those candidates who are ahead of the curve, we aim to offer inspiration with insights that take the knowledge a step further.
  • Have passed Level I at least six months previously
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) if you were still an Undergraduate at the time of sitting Level I
  • Be in possession of a valid international passport
  • Sign the statement of professional conduct and pay exam fees to CFA Institute

Discover CFA® Level II

CFA® Level III

CFA® Level III candidates have overcome the first two hurdles and have gained the extensive analytical and valuation skills included in Levels I and II. Finally it is time to focus on the clients, both individual and institutional. What are their specific investment objectives and constraints? What behavioural traits do they exhibit and how do these affect the portfolio design? Level III is all about portfolios and wealth management. Certain topics drop from the curriculum now (we know you will be sorry to see the back of Quants and Financial Reporting) and most other topics are from a portfolio perspective.
